Favorite Song Right Now: "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. It sounds cliché, but this specific 1973 live version.
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Family always comes first! I love spending time playing pretend with our kids. My best half enables me to stay creative and keep my inner child alive. On any given weekend, I’m typically outside with the kids and working on our land while enjoying our waterfront.
My hobbies include wine and coffee appreciation. I’m a traditionalist and I really enjoy the ceremony around the discovery of these two delectable pleasures. Here is a place to join me about my passion of wine: https://delectable.com/@audreynadeau. "The wine is a social lubricant," quotation of the French author, Jean Clavel.
I like to start my mornings at 5:45 a.m. I go have a look at the St. Lawrence River out our bay window to feel the type of day it’s going to be, and at the same time, be grateful for what surrounds me. Then we get started with the morning royal rumbling routine of making breakfast, prepping lunch boxes, and getting the kids to school, and then I get ready for work.
In my position at CTG, I look after a portfolio of clients for the StarDust CTG Group Montreal office. My role is to assure that our clients are equipped with a range of optimal solutions for all of their business requirements. I spend most of my time listening to our client’s challenges. From there, I conduct research, ask the right questions, pitch a solution, explain our company’s purpose and the value we can provide, and try to secure business. However, most importantly, I work to build strong relationships throughout the whole ecosystem surrounding CTG from a global perspective. One of my favorite parts of my position is getting to meet clients, understand their challenges, and work to find solutions that help them be better at what they do.
I joined the StarDust CTG Group team in Montréal last January (2021). I have had the great opportunity to collaborate with the CTG Belgium and CTG U.S. teams on various projects. A notable project of mine was securing an additional RFP with a Canadian bank while working in the delivery phase of their original project. The complex nature of the request has allowed us to continue to develop our relationship with them. Kudos to all of the CTGers who are helping me succeed on projects like these. I tip my hat to you for your support and the "going beyond what is required" attitude toward reaching our goals.
After work, I kick off the routine of dinner prep and helping our kids finish their homework. Once that is done, my son and I have a quick guitar jam session to evaporate our day. Then, when the kids are in bed, my wife and I take some time to sit together and share our days with each other and what have we learned. As parents, we have to be in sync and make some time as partners and best friends.
My career advice is don’t look for a job and salary. Instead, seek a great coach/mentor at work that will propel you from where you are to where you ought to be. My motto is, "I seek not to know all the answers, but to understand the meaning of questions!" And, always "Dream…dream big!"
I have learned that we don’t accomplish things just by ourselves. It is with our collective efforts and attitudes that will make the difference between doing good things and attaining amazing achievements.
As Albert Einstein once said: "Creativity is intelligence having fun!" However you choose to relax in your personal life, ultimately having fun is essential to getting yourself out of your routine and letting the creativity flow! Try something new! A workout class, a gardening workshop, a TV show, photography—whatever it is as long as you have fun!
