I wake up around 7:00 a.m. and immediately make coffee, tend to my dogs, and get a morning workout in before starting my day. At the beginning of my workday, I like to review my calendars, write down my schedule, and make a “to-do” list of my priority tasks for each day. After I know my schedule, I take time to review and address any emails before meetings start.

My afternoons can vary day to day. I manage several projects for various clients, so the second half of my day typically depends on any upcoming deadlines, priorities, or meetings. I try to reserve the end of the day to catch up on emails that have come in throughout the day and work on some of the tasks I listed in the morning and any ad-hoc items. Once I sign off for the day, I typically make and eat dinner with my husband, clean up around the house, take the dogs for a walk, and just try to unplug and relax.

My favorite thing about my position is being able to mentor others. I enjoy helping people grow, learn, and advance in their professional journey. I also enjoy how collaborative CTG is, and the flexibility, diverse skillsets, and growth opportunities the company provides. My best advice is to invest in yourself. CTG offers the tools and trainings to invest in yourself and grow your skills. Leverage that opportunity, and don’t be afraid to go a little outside of your comfort zone!
