According to a recent Forbes article, the 'War for Talent' is the new normal. It has been estimated that by 2030, more than 85 million jobs could go unfilled, because there aren’t enough skilled people to take them, resulting in a 8,5 trillion euro talent shortage.
Organizations are considering this 'War for talent' as a battle, but it shouldn’t be. If we’re all on the same side, it’s not a battle, but rather a challenge. There are many ways organisations can attract new talent or keep existing talents. Unlike what most people believe, the most successful way is not by providing a better compensation and benefits program. Talents will stay or join because you invest in them and in their career.
